History
South Coast Railway Women's Welfare Organization (SCoRWWO) was established as the 18th railway zone of Indian Railways to strengthen railway administration and improve transportation services in Andhra Pradesh. The zone was announced on 27 February 2019 with its headquarters at Visakhapatnam. The creation of South Coast Railway marked an important milestone in the development of railway infrastructure in the state.
The zone was formed with the objective of providing better operational efficiency, enhanced passenger amenities, faster project implementation, and improved freight management. Since its inception, South Coast Railway has focused on modernization, safety, digital transformation, and customer-centric services.
Our Network
